Hinki Suen - Viola

 

Hinki recently graduated from his intensive MA at the Royal Academy of Music with distinction &DipRAM,  studying with Yuko Inoue. He previously studied with Susie Mészáros at the Royal Northern College of Music, followed by private study with Kimi Makino in Manchester.

 

Hinki is an active violist who has travelled and performed in various music festivals and venues, such as Het Concertgebouw, Konzerthaus Berlin, Atheneul Roman, Anhaltisches Theater Dessau, Kulturzentrum Grand Hotel Toblach, Chipping Campden Festival. He was very fortunate to have been generously supported to participate in festivals and masterclasses such as British Isle Music Festival, Otaru Viola Masterclass, Musik Forum Sachrang & Accademia di Musica di Taggia, and has also been given invaluable advice in all areas by notable musicians, such as Nobuko Imai, Levon Chilingirian, Garth Knox. 

 

He is always exploring new opportunities with his viola for an all-rounded music making experience.

Hanzhi Zhang - Piano

 

Hanzhi has performed at prestigious concerts both in her home country and overseas. Having studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing as well as the Royal Academy of Music, she graduated from both institutions with distinction, being awarded the prestigious DipRAM from the Academy with a Master of Arts , a Professional Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
 

As a 2023/24 Tunnell Trust Young Artist, Hanzhi palyed a recital tour around Scotland, with her duo partner Daniel Stroud in February 2024. She was invited to play in Petworth Festival, All Saints Festival amd Hoylake chamber concert society and regularly play in the Academy Song Circles Series. Hanzhi has won numerous awards in her home country, and has a strong background as a soloist and an accompaniment member. And master classes, including with Justus Zeyen, Graham Scott, James Ehnes, Helmut Deutsch, David Geber, Lawrence Power.

 

As a versatile young pianist, Hanzhi enjoys performing in a wide range of repertoire and styles. She regularly performs in the UK and China in venues such as the Zhongshan Music Hall of Beijing, the Concert Hall of Tianjin, the Binhu Park Theater of XuZhou, St.Nicholas Church, St Anne’s Church, and St Michael’s Church, among others. She has also been an established piano teacher at the Continuing College of Central Conservatory in Beijing.
